Archaeological excavations unearthed the ancient remains of this Roman mansion outside Perl and, after years of meticulous reconstruction, you can now wander around the complex of residential buildings, bathhouses, workshops, taverns and courtyards, and see what they would have looked like 2000 years ago. This hotel lies in the heart of Wernigerode, a 5-minute walk from the town hall and Wernigerode Castle. Schlossberg-Hotel offers a sauna and free Wi-Fi.
The Casino has mostly slot machines. As in all other Casinos I have seen it is dark and rather shady. In addition here there are some rooms which allow smoking and even though the doors there are closed you kind of smell like an ashtray when you come home. Victor'S Residenz-Hotel Schloss Berg - Located just a few minutes' walk from Schloss Berg, Victor'S Residenz-Hotel Schloss Berg features dining options including the gastronomic restaurant. Completely refurbished in 2011, the venue opened its doors in 2001. Guests will find a variety of games, including Electronic Roulette, on the 104 slot machines at Casino Schloss Berg. And for those who prefer table games, the casino has one live table for American Roulette. Guests must be 18 or older and have a valid I.D.
Schlossberg-Hotel consists of a historic villa and another beautiful half-timbered building.
Regional Harz specialties are served in a number of restaurant within walking distance of the property.

Important Information
If you are using a satellite navigation device, the shortest way from the B6 from the direction of Goslar is via the Wernigerode Nord exit. However, the property recommends that you take the Wernigerode Zentrum exit and follow the signs for Lindenallee. From Lindenallee, do not drive between the red and white bollards, but stay on the left-hand side and turn left again up the hill in order to get to the hotel.
Please note that a breakfast fee may be applicable for children ages 2 and under who stay in existing beds.
